As a contemporary string band, they are emerging as Ontario Bluegrass favourites. Playing around a single mic, sisters Trish Schnurr and Cara Croll, do most of the singing, playing guitar and bass. Their husbands, Adam Croll, five-string banjo, and Mark Schnurr, mandolin, do the picking. They handle everything from straight up bluegrass to blues, folk, country and fine original songs. The women blend their quite different voices as only sisters can. Known for high energy, lively performances, moonshiner's daughter will bring the jam from the kitchen table to the road!
Cara Croll (Bass, vocals)
Cara began her musical studies at an early age also, but instead of strings she focused on the piano, which enabled her to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of music. Cara rounds out and anchors the bands groove on stand up bass while leading vocals and singing harmony.
